Ada County Coroner's Office identifies stabbing victim found North of Gowen Road in Boise

The Ada County Coroner's Office has identified the victim in a stabbing incident on July 27.

At approximately 11:09 a.m. on Thursday, the Ada County Coroner's Office was dispatched near the Amity and South Production Avenue intersection, north of Gowen Road in Boise.

Police say they believe the suspect, Dallas Brower, and two adult males were parked in the area and became involved in an altercation. Brower and another male suspect exited the vehicle with a knife. The victim attempted to drive away before running on foot to seek help. Once Police arrived, they found Brower walking down a nearby road.

Officers then located the victim, 24-year-old Justin Friesner of Parma, Idaho, who was found dead of apparent stab wounds. The coroner reported the cause of death as sharp force injuries of the neck and chest. The manner of death was a homicide.

Brower has been arrested and booked on charges of 1st-degree murder perpetrated by poison, torture, vengeance, extortion or sadistic inclinations.

Boise City Police Department is conducting the investigation.
